Support

As a small nonprofit, your support, in any form – monetary, in-kind, or volunteering your time – is greatly appreciated. We are currently campaigning for funds to acquire a new facility as well as regularly seeking general operating revenue from a variety of local foundations and trusts.

AN URGENT CALL TO ACTION

Dear Daybreak Families, Friends and Volunteers,

Even though there’s still snow on the ground in Woodland Park, there are hints of Spring in the air,  there really were some exciting things on the horizon for DayBreak…as fate would have it, out of the two real estate properties that were looking like viable, promising, new home prospects, AND, with which we had entered into preliminary negotiations AND, with which we had VERY high hopes that one would come to fruition – this week, not one, but both properties fell through.

DayBreak is now back to square one, with the stopwatch ticking faster and faster AND, with our already generously extended lease expiring at the end of May, with no prospective commercial buildings on the market, that we could realistically turn into a “home away from home” for our participants – we are very concerned, but we are also EXTREMELY HOPEFUL!

DayBreak has an URGENT CALL TO ACTION.

We are reaching out for support in the way of monetary donations, possible investors, and/or knowledge of a commercial building that did not come across our radar during our previous searches. We do not believe that it is time for DayBreak, the one-of-a-kind, first and only adult day program to serve Teller, Park, and El Paso counties, to close its doors…

We believe the best is yet to come!!!

We hope you do too…

If you know someone who could help with DayBreak’s pressing need – please feel free to contact Paula Levy at 719-331-3640 or via email: paula@daybreakadp.com.

Sincerely,

Paula Levy
Executive Director
